Espersen uses the Virkplan Business Platform to manage global product launches, ensuring structured processes, task control, and full management overview across hundreds of projects.
Espersen works with the processing of frozen fish blocks and fillets, specialty cuts, breaded products, and high-end seafood products. As one of the leading suppliers to some of the world’s largest multinational food companies, Espersen operates production facilities in Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, the UK, and Vietnam. To manage their global product launches, they require a system that ensures control over all processes.
A thoroughly tested and stable system
With a vast number of projects and tasks, it is absolutely crucial to have a system that is stable and thoroughly tested. The system must provide an overview of both ongoing and new projects and ensure that all projects and tasks are completed at the right time and by the right stakeholders. It gives us confidence that all procedures are followed and that all relevant departments are involved at the right times, including the entire quality assurance process. At the same time, the system provides a management overview. User access controls the level of insight available, and as a manager you gain visibility into all ongoing projects, their status, potential risks, and progress. It is a strong management tool.”
