Now We Can Use Our Data as a Management Tool

Our collaboration with Virkplan and the Virkplan BI product began with a concrete need to optimize quality assurance and performance management in connection with the delivery of services to a specific customer. At Securitas, we needed to be able to monitor our service delivery on a day-to-day basis—and this is now possible after implementing Virkplan BI.

Immediate Insight into Data

We already had all the data required to monitor our service delivery. Our challenge was that we only gained access to the relevant data with a delay of up to six weeks, once the data had been processed and delivered as a status report. If there were irregularities in relation to our agreement with the customer, we had no opportunity to adjust our efforts while the situation was still current.

With PilotBI, we now gain insight into our service delivery on a daily basis, allowing us to continuously adjust our efforts and address any challenges immediately.

100% Transparency with the Customer

One of the things I find truly unique is that we now share data with our customer, making our setup 100% transparent. Both we and the customer now have access to exactly the same data at the same time, giving us a better overall overview than either of us could have achieved individually.

PilotBI does not require integration between multiple IT systems. Instead, it is based purely on data exchange, making it much easier and significantly more cost-effective to implement than developing a full-scale IT system.

From a technical perspective, Virkplan BI is essentially a very simple setup. The most important part of the task was identifying which data points were most relevant and provided the right insights in relation to our objectives and service delivery. In this regard, Virkplan proved to be a professional and strategically competent partner.

Professional Sparring

Virkplan was extremely quick to understand the task, despite the relatively high level of complexity, and they managed the process very professionally. It has been a thoroughly positive experience for everyone involved. We received valuable sparring on our selected KPIs and were constructively challenged where Virkplan believed improvements could be made.

The sparring from Virkplan and the implementation of Virkplan BI mean that we can now use our data as a true management tool—both for day-to-day performance management and for tracking development over time.

I would absolutely recommend others to collaborate with Virkplan. The project we have completed together has been a great success, and we are already working on two additional projects—one of which is an internal initiative that will enable us to monitor the development of our organization.
