Get a live overview of production or project bottlenecks and resource usage. Employees register time, materials, and task status directly in the app, allowing plans to be quickly adjusted when changes occur.

Virkplan Projects is a standardized solution that makes it quick and easy to get started with structured project or production management—without long implementation processes or technical complexity.

Although the solution is standardized, we take the implementation seriously. We facilitate the process, involve relevant stakeholders, and follow up continuously to ensure that Virkplan’s project management tool, Projects, becomes a natural part of your daily operations.
1. Clarification of workflows and goals
The implementation starts with a clarification of your workflows, roles, and goals. Here, we focus on how work is carried out today and where there is potential for better overview, less administration, and more standardized task execution. The goal is to take your daily operations as a starting point and connect them to a proven standard – not to build a custom solution.
2. Fast start with the standard solution
Virkplan Projects is a standardized solution that can be put into use quickly. Projects, tasks, workflows, and roles are set up based on best practice for project management, ensuring the solution works from day one. This means fewer choices, less complexity, and a solution that is easy to understand and maintain.
3. Start without integrations – with imported data
In many cases, the solution starts without integrations to ERP and other systems. Instead, imported data is used so that workflows, registrations, and overview can be tested in practice. This approach makes it possible to test the solution, gain experience, and ensure value before investing in integrations. At the same time, a solid data foundation is built, which can later be expanded.
4. User training with a focus on daily operations
Users are introduced to Virkplan Projects with a focus on their role in project and production work. Sales, product, production, and management are trained in tasks, status, documentation, and follow-up. The training is practical and targeted, ensuring that the solution quickly becomes a natural part of everyday work.
5. Ongoing evaluation and optimization of processes
Once the solution is in operation, we follow up and continuously evaluate how the workflows function. Together, we adjust processes, structure, and use of the solution, so the value increases over time. 6. Reporting and portfolio overview in Power BI
Parallel to or after the initial implementation, reporting in Power BI is established. This process differs from the rest of the implementation, as it typically involves other stakeholders such as management, project managers, and finance. The focus is on portfolio overview and insights across projects – including key figures for progress, resource usage, and financials. Reporting is based on standard reports, which can be adapted to your management needs and expanded over time.
7. Integrations – when the solution has been validated
When workflows have been tested, users are familiar with the solution, and reporting creates value, integrations with ERP, finance, and other systems can be established. At this point, requirements are clear, and integrations support the business – rather than driving the process.
