The Implementation Process
Virkplan Management Reporting is a standardized BI solution that provides a fast overview and decision-ready reporting – without heavy BI projects and technical complexity.From the outset, the focus is on your business, your management needs, and the value the reporting should create in everyday operations.
Although the solution is built on standards, we take the implementation seriously. We work closely with you throughout the entire process and ensure that reporting becomes an active management tool – not just a report.
1. Clarifying management needs and objectives
The implementation begins with a clarification of your management needs, goals, and decision-making processes. Our focus is on how you work with reporting today, which key figures are important, and where there is potential for better visibility and less manual work.The goal is to take your daily operations as the starting point and connect them to a proven BI standard – not to reinvent reporting from scratch.
2. Data access and data model setup
We conduct a workshop with relevant stakeholders, where we review processes, needs, and expectations across the organization. A baseline reporting model based on best practice is also presented.
The workshop ensures a shared understanding, clear priorities, and a solution that supports management, finance, and operations alike.

This ensures that the solution evolves in line with your needs – and is not only evaluated at the end.
5. Delivery of version 1 – refinement and adjustments
The first version is delivered and reviewed together with you. We gather feedback and adjust reports, key figures, and visualizations to ensure the solution works effectively in practice.
The focus is on usability, clarity, and decision support.
6. Training, follow-up, and final delivery
Users are introduced to the reporting solution with a focus on everyday use – not technical details. After training, we follow up on feedback and make the final adjustments.
The completed solution is then delivered and ready for operation.
7. Operations, monitoring, and ongoing follow-up
Once the solution is in operation, we monitor data quality and usage and provide ongoing follow-up. The reporting can be adjusted, expanded, and further developed as your business, data foundation, and management needs evolve.
